Loyola Marymount University

Tuesday, March 26 2019 07:00PM - 09:00PM

Tuesday, March 26th, Loyola Marymount University will be screening SOUFRA in their monthly series called “Cleaning Up Dirty Business: CBA Night at the Movies.” Movies are shown that feature famous examples of unethical business practices or highlight inspirational examples of business practices followed by a group discussion facilitated by special panelists with expertise on the practices.

This screening was sponsored in full by LMU, whose generosity has allowed the entrepreneurial efforts of LMU students of Dr. Glosenberg’s Introduction to Entrepreneurship course to be donated directly to the Soufra Fund. Through their project, “The $20 challenge”, designed by Dr. Glosenberg to create a working business in a single week with only $20 seed money, students generated $2,796. Their social entrepreneurship will be "paying it forward" by helping other local initiatives without the means to share SOUFRA with their community.

The screening is followed by a conversation with director and producer Thomas Morgan.
